Material

1 cup cold water
1 cup sugar
Salt
chopped coriander
Oil

Instruction

  1. Place the salmon in a plastic container, add cold water, sugar, and salt and mix.
  2. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for 25-37 hours before you start smoking.
  3. Once you’re done, take it out of the refrigerator and wash it carefully using cold water. dry with a clean cloth.
  4. Put the salmon back in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  5. Oil the fish to prepare it for smoking. You can smoke salmon in a pan on the stove at home. To smoke fish, you will need a pan, wood chips of your choice, a rack to rest the fish on (this will keep the fish elevated above the wood chips), and tin foil.
  6. Place wood chips in the pan, then place a rack over it and place the oiled salmon on the rack. Turn the stove on high and let the wood chips heat until they start to smoke. When they start to smoke heavily, carefully cover the entire pan tightly with foil (the smoke should not escape. Reduce the heat to low and let the fish smoke for 30 minutes.
  7. After 30 minutes, turn off the stove and let the pan cool without removing the foil. When cool enough to touch, remove the foil and serve the fish.
